About Me: I have been in the Asheville area for about 24 years. I moved down here to help my Dad self- publish his book on creativity and what we know about thinking styles and the nature of creative thought through brain function. He created an assessment and I worked for his company in Lake Lure for 9 years. Since then, I have been an African-style drummer, publication designer and Buddhist enthusiast among other things. Tibetan as well as other Buddhist traditions has become a major part of my life, and I'm involved in Urban Dharma, a new Buddhist center in Asheville. I have a lot of work ahead of me to be a serious meditator...I chip away at it. But the Dharma has provided a lot of wisdom for dealing with day-to-day challenges, as well as wisdom-makers such as Eckhardt Tolle. i am excited to learn more about Asheville sangha.
