I developed my signature process "Writing from the Heart" after years of writing and being published in memoir and poetry, encouraged by my spiritual teacher Papaji (HWL Poonja), who suggested I share a form of Satsang in the world through teaching, and this meditative form of 'Writing Practice' was the result. I owe a big debt to my writing mentors Natalie Goldberg (Writing Down the Bones), Joan Logghe, Poet Laureate of Santa Fe, NM, and Judyth Hill (Wage Peace), who have inspired my process beyond measure. Two hands together in gassho to all my teachers.
As a Lover of Truth, a Lover of the Mystics, a Lover of modern and ancient Poets and Writers, pundits, sages, singers of satsang (gatherings in which Truth is shared), madmen and women, the wise ones, earth mothers and sky fathers, our collective grandmothers and various howlers at the moon, a combination of all of the above and more are used in sessions, classes, workshops or events to enhance the writing experience. Please contact me if you wish to host a Writing from the Heart™ gathering, or to include this process as a part of a retreat or workshop: firstname.lastname@example.org, or here on Asheville Sangha. In addition I offer one on one coaching sessions in person or via Skype.
