Supporting Non-Duality and Awakening in Asheville and Beyond

(C) 2010 Howard McQueen

In those moments when we feel afraid and cave in to our fear,
we choose to separate and become what might be called dis-enheartened.
This is a built-in tendency within all of humanity.
If practiced and refined, it becomes a way to loose ourselves in our unbridled fear.

Awaken to this practiced tendency you have embraced.
Know that you've been rehearsing this for so, so many years.
This is one of our greatest undoings,
seeking refuge in what we've manufactured through not facing our fear.

Be still. Endure the discomfort. Know it will pass, leaving the deepest
and most essential force flowing through you - unscathed.

Receiving love, kindness and compassion from you, dear Kimberly. Letting it pass through me, and recirculate to all the little ones, knowing that we need to be, constantly, seen-heard-appreciated, to stand in our respective cores, living and dying, constantly.

Life is beautifully messy, in this shared inlet, where the forces of life converge, often too tumultuous for one instance of life to endure, alone. We are not built to stand alone. We are built and wired to be in Unity, leaning upon each other to lean into life and breathe in all that comes our way, remembering to breathe out that which destroys, cleanses and revitalizes us, so we can again stand in the flow - ;-) Howard
