Zikr Led By Shemsuddin & Saraswati Rain

Shemsuddin welcomes Sara Rain to his regular 4th Saturday dance to lead us in Sacred Remembrance (Zikr). We will be chanting sacred Arabic phrases, along with live music and simple repetitive movements, to facilitate a deepening into harmonious unity.

Sára Rain has been a spiritual leader and minister in Colorado since 1997, and is a Dance Mentor for the Dances of Universal Peace. Leading Sufi practices, community rituals, and sacred music circles, Sára weaves inter-cultural depth and a medley of instrumentation spanning many traditions and languages. She swims in the heart of the music!
