Rumi Poems Deepen Meditation Workshop

Rumi was a fantastic spiritual teacher. He understood the process of awakening intimately from his own experience. His poems reveal many messages that we can use today to help us deepen our meditation practice and live through awareness rather than the conditioned mind.

In this workshop I will take three of Rumi's poems and we will go into the understanding of his message in the poems and the suggestions of how to turn inward. After each poem we will apply the insights in a period of meditation to experience first hand the guidance Rumi is giving.

It does not matter what your usual meditation technique is. Our approach to meditation is simply to be in silence and turn inward.

I love the beauty of Rumi's poems and also the depth of his understanding and this workshop is designed for anyone who wishes to experience those qualities personally.

This is not a Mystical Poetry Evening where I recite poetry.
