This coming Wednesday (12/12/12) is the last meeting of the Awakening Practices Group for 2012.  We will resume again on Wednesday, January 9th, assuming that the world doesn't end later this month ;)  If you haven't attended the group before, you should come check it out just in case the opportunity doesn't arise again.  What better way to spend your your last tri-numeral day than with your fellow travelers.

Each meeting begins with a guided meditation, followed by listening to an Eckhart Tolle audio. We then have time for people to discuss things that have come up for them while listening or reading or practicing if they feel so moved.  Emphasis is on putting words and pointers into action through meditation and discussion.  The group meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Insight Counseling, 25 Orange St., Asheville. 
I invite you all to bring some of your favorite quotes and/or pointers with you to share with the group.  I will also be bringing copies of my book for sale for only $10.  They make great gifts, and every dollar earned goes toward a toy or article of clothing for our precious little girl :)  Izabella Luna is almost 8 months old now and too cute to be legal, but don't get me started on that.

Have a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Joyous Solstice, and just enjoy the present moment regardless of what day it is.  It's the only moment you have and it's always Now.
