LETTING GO OF ALL INTERMEDIARY SYMBOLS

Defending our freedoms from ignorance and Pretence.

If we are not seeing and feeling
the One Presence everywhere,
then we are out of focus,
our perspective has collapsed,
we are in the throes of separation,
we are worshiping the ten thousand
self-limiting beliefs -- using our words
as symbols and sentences
to wall ourselves in,
insulating and separating ourselves from life.

The infant is wide open,
she is innocent and gullible and drinks deeply of everything
the adults serve her under the tree of knowledge.
This fills the child’s awareness,
to the brim,
with false beliefs,
strange symbols,
and conflict.
Her inner Presence is covered over,
transformed into Pretence.
This brings on the long and arduous winter of her life.

Until come the spring, when the warrior within is awakened
and doubt and skepticism come alive
to undo and uproot all the false flora and fauna of Pretence.
Empty again, cleansed, and wide open,
the human-being senses the vividness of connection
to felt knowingness.
No longer is there a needing to interpret through the intermediary symbols of words,
or rely upon the assurances or validation of others.
There is but right action of the warrior, living in her heart,
honoring that which is sacred,
protecting and defending freedom and innocence
from the dark, corrupting forces of Pretence.

We have occasional glimpses and feelings
into the eternal joy radiating from our source.
These extraordinary moments are becoming more frequent
and more lengthy in their duration.
We are becoming more capable in holding the signal, radiating the vibration.

Goodness gracious, this news is cause enough for celebration!
