This zesty gumbo of engagement,

opening us wider and deeper

to the splendor

and rapture

of loving,

and piercing

through our fear,

of living.

This wild,

unfettered spirit…

When you least suspect it,
shortly after the dawn
of a new day
on some remote shore,
love awakens - boldly.

Aspects of this love
have visited before.
kindling your fire,
shoring up
your steadfast desire
to honor a love of that
which is whole.

Somewhere along your gypsy…

Home is found in the heart,

an emotive, vibrational space

we have painfully strayed

and continue to wander away.

Returning to the heart,

a procession of bouts

of round-about wanderings,

tours in the foreign legion,

A communication from Self to self...

For decades I have been gifted with beautiful communications. Here is one that may lift and inspire. "Beloved, be not distracted by the world, but rather remain steadfastly focused on Inner Light. Walk lightly on this Earth, relinquishing attachment to outcome, trusting in Divine Order and Perfection, and leaving only the imprint of Infinite Light in your path. You have never left Home, and we await your return to that knowing."

I'm just saying...

You are the Absolute, Self-witnessing as the entire manifest universe. You are pure. innocent, untouched and untouchable. You are the Changeless...That which can neither be added to, nor subtracted from. You are That in which the manifest world appears, as well as being all of the manifest universe. Everything you do, think, say or feel is a perfect manifestation of the Absolute, because the Absolute is all there is. You can't do it "wrong" and you need not struggle to get it "right". What you… Continue

A poem ; Oneness

I wrote this poem many years ago in response to a deep connection with my then lover. I was reminded of this experience when I saw the movie Avatar. In the movie, when this connection is made, the natives of Pandora say "I see you". The deeper meaning of the greeting "Namaste" also reflects this connection. My understanding of Namaste is this; That which is Divine in me recognizes that which is Divine in you, and in this place we are One. Here is the…

Doing My Best Sailing My Ship

(C) 2010 Howard McQueen

I'm doing my best
returning again and again to a balance point
of choice and choosing,
constantly in reassess - ment.

Caressing and honoring
the many things unfolding,
seemingly in competition,
carrying the seeds of conflict.

I'm @CHOICE, seemingly in the center,

seeing potential storms within.

A Dream Come True

Here is something I invite you to ponder.

What if this moment was what you had been hoping and praying for all of your life? No matter what you are doing, whether it be taxes or walking the dog or looking at a computer screen, imagine what it would be like if this was your dream come true. Don’t get hung up on the skeptical thoughts, just feel what it feels like to have your hopes and prayers finally be answered. What does that feel like? Experience it fully and deeply – This is it! I… Continue

Once in time, two were separate.
The ache was great,
for each had sought the desert
to prepare and purify their hearts
for the rebirth of a far broader and deeper love.

This love, they baked in the furnace,
held in incubation,
in the crucible,
the clay oven of heartfeltness.
In this formlessness, the holy spirit enters,
