Said a wife to a husband.
Or perhaps it was
the other way around.
"Do you know me?"
The four words echoed
in their discomfort.
"Do you know what it is that

We're looking. For something so simple.

So we look to him. To her.
To them. To there.
We look to everywhere but here.

It's hidden just beyond our cleverness.
