Join Susan and Miriam at Miriam's home in East Asheville for an evening of honoring the Deepam festival. This holiday dates back to 200 BC in south India and is associated with Arunachala, the "holy fire hill".  It culminates each year with a lighting of a huge flame on top of the mountain fueled by ghee and butter.
