Supporting Non-Duality and Awakening in Asheville and Beyond

"When we write from the heart, our inner voice is unafraid to speak 'truth'... And when we share aloud, we surprise ourselves at our own voice, its beauty and its strength... We hear and learn what we intuitively know."

H.W.L. Poonja (Papaji), encouraged Aile (Amana) to share a form of satsang (gatherings where 'truth' is shared) through writing and teaching Writing from the Heart™, her signature process developed in 1997. Writing mentors include Natalie Goldberg (Writing Down the Bones), Joan Logghe (Poet Laureate, Santa Fe NM), Judyth Hill (known for her poem 'Wage Peace') and others, in seminars and trainings: Robert Bly, Ed Sanders, Sam Shepard, Allen Ginsburg, Gregory Corso, and Julia Cameron (The Artist’s Way).

"Self" can be defined as multi-faceted, multi-dimensional and phenomenological. It includes the subject of one's own experiences of the world, narratives that shape us, our perceptions, emotions, and thoughts. "Self" is an experiencer, with a personal story with which it is usually identified.

"Self" also refers to a larger, unlimited field in which our true identity is not bound in a body, and has no knowledge and no activity, and is therefore transcendental in nature. "Self" in this dynamic is before and after this experiential Self, and is what remains when the body/mind dies. In this regard, there is no 'other' and therefore, no duality.

Both aspects of 'Self' will be highlighted in this workshop, and this offering is Skype accessible. You don't have to be a writer to attend, and you are always free to write on any topic... ♥
