"The norm is to relate to life in a very personal way - from the perspective of I, me and mine.  “What’s best for me? What do I like? What is my opinion?” Even one’s spiritual practice is often pursued, at least initially, from a personal perspective: “I want to quiet my mind. I want more peace in my life.” But if we pursue this pursuit long enough we may come to find that it’s not about this personal “me” after all. At all. And that’s when things get interesting!"
